2-D Work
This gallery contains all of my 2-D work with the exception of photography. It's a mixture of drawing, painting, and graphic design.

Digital
My name animation, I had a load of fun picking out fonts and colors as well as deciding how to animate it.
Our school had a competition to create a cover for our handbook.
A really fun project, turning someone invisible. I chose to do my friend, Kelley Roberts.
The idea for this was to create poster advertising something in our school or community, in an abstract way. I had a hard time thinking of something for a college event.
The front side to my CD cover. I tried out a few new things I learned from tutorials. We had to try and create a realistic cover.
The back side to my CD cover. We had to create our own legal information to make the cover much more realistic.
For this assignment, we had to use the letters of a word to demonstrate it.
One of our first big projects in Digital Design was to use a pen tablet to recreate a picture, much like a painting. Later on, I discovered this was a method used by photography printing companies to create a unique look, if the customer wanted it.
Physical
After a lot of practicing and exercises, our first assignment was to draw our hand holding some or of object.
Our Final for drawing was to draw an arrangement of ornaments while showing several different techniques and media throughout the piece.
As a transition from drawing to painting, we touched bases on chalk/pastels (non-oil.)
Another pastel drawing, I really enjoyed the media and decided to have a second go with it.
One of my favorite pieces from painting, it's several small water color paintings grouped in a unique fashion with relating subjects.
A project to tie in the Hatching/Cross Hatching, a technique commonly used in drawing.
Our only project that included printing, and we had to demonstrate as many as possible. This is based off a poem known as "B" or "If I had a Daughter" by Sarah Kay. I wish I was a little neater with the text.
After covering all 3 major types of paintings, I had to paint a non-objective piece. I was going through a very emotional period at the time and decided to show it here. The light colors are for happiness, the dark ones are sadness, and the brown is the conflicting mixture of the two. The red and blue splatters symbolize the blood, sweat, and tears that go into much of my work.
